Installation guide

Let the updater do the difficult part.

    Use a separate folder

    Extract the client somewhere writable, for example C:\Games\Lineage2AI. Avoid Program Files and OneDrive.

  2. 02
    Run the updater

    Allow it to download the manifest, compare files and finish at 100%. Do not copy another server’s patch over this folder.

  3. 03
    Launch from the updater

    Sign in with the account you created here. Keep the updater — every future release uses the same verified path.

Before asking for help

Fast answers to common launch problems.

The updater will not start

Move the game to a normal local folder, extract every archive file, then run the updater again. Antivirus exclusions should be limited to this exact game folder.

Files keep failing verification

Close the game, remove read-only permissions, check free disk space and run repair again. Do not mix our files with another server patch.

I hear no AI voice

Finish the updater first, then verify Voice output in the account dashboard and confirm the launcher bridge is allowed through Windows Firewall.

Can I use my old client?

Only use it if it is a clean supported build. The full client is the safest option when you are unsure or have used other private-server patches.
