The first public test begins
The World of AI is moving from private development into controlled open beta testing. This is the first stage in which a broader group of players can create accounts, prepare the official client and help us test the world under real network and gameplay conditions.
Open beta does not mean every planned system is finished or that access will be unlimited from the first hour. We will open the gates in measured waves, watch server stability and AI service capacity, and expand only when the evidence supports it. If a wave reaches its capacity, registration or entry may be temporarily limited while we improve the service.
What we are testing together
The purpose of this beta is larger than a population test. We need to understand how AI companions behave across real parties, languages, connection qualities and play styles. We are measuring the complete path from launcher and login through voice input, server context, AI planning, authoritative game validation and companion speech.
The most useful feedback is specific: what you attempted, what the companion understood, what the GameServer accepted, what appeared in the client and how long the response took. A fluent answer is not enough. The action must still be legal, current and correctly applied by the server.

- Safe rejection of stale, impossible or unauthorized actions
How to enter safely
Create your account only on lineage2ai.com and download files only from the official Download page. The production launcher will verify signed release metadata and every managed game file before Play becomes available. Never install an executable or patch sent through a private message, mirror comment or unofficial archive.
The launcher and client are being released in stages alongside the beta infrastructure. The Download page is the source of truth for current availability, supported Windows versions and release integrity information. If a button is not active yet, wait for the signed public release rather than using an unofficial package.
AI speaks; the game server decides
Lineage2AI is designed around a strict separation between intelligence and authority. AI handles natural language, personality and high-level intent. The Java GameServer supplies bounded context and legal capabilities, resolves internal identifiers, checks ownership, range, resources, cooldowns and state, and decides what becomes real.
That boundary matters during beta. If a companion misunderstands a request, times out or proposes something illegal, the safe result is a question, refusal or no action—not invented game state. Reports that help us improve this boundary are among the most valuable contributions a tester can make.
A beta built in honest layers
We will publish changes through news and release notes, label systems by their actual testing state and keep roadmap ideas separate from proven gameplay. Player counts, latency and feature availability will be reported only when we have evidence for the specific build and test window.
